Under my window, on a Sunny Sunday
here in Waikiki,
I saw a party being launched.
As it developed, we realized that
it was no mere party,
but a wedding.
The Video is 1 minute long,
and curiously touching.
Woven mats given as gifts,
used in ceremony,
are a Samoan custom,
possibly Tongan as well.
Enjoy the spying, er
show-

Happiness is indeed a form of courage Cloudia and has to be worked at. Well worth it though.
ReplyDeleteLovely little ceremony spot. Haven't seen those towers of large folded leaves before. Beautiful woven wrapping mat.

Every once in a while when I'm in the French Quarter we'll observe either a wedding or funeral. Very surreal most times, especially the funerals.
ReplyDeleteThanks, dear Pals ♥
