is like a box of

you never know
what you're going
to get.

Particularly
when the other
is a cat.

So
Thank YOU

I'd be talking
to myself.

carry the entire
load.

  3. Cloudia talking to you via this way sometimes is like eating chocolate and others like bitter root. Both have their place. I'm glad you have yours found, i may yet get a chance to find mine away from here.

  6. Thoreau and I are on the same page this AM. No wonder people disagree with me. Now I know.

  7. Some of my best conversations are with cats. Who else would respond with a purr?

  8. "Hail the Rampant Conqueror"??? I loved that caption. Pixie looks like you might be boring her to death, so it is better for you to talk to us ;) The Queen has other things to do with her life.

  9. Aloha Cloudia, perfect quotes and sky captures! It's funny how so many conversations I've had with strangers are some of the best ever shared, and often play again in my memory of it.

  11. Such stunning sky photos, and great quotes! Glad you talk to us too...and not just the cat! :-) They are truly wise creatures but they sure don't share much of what they know!

  13. Pixie is very wise.

By extension, punctuation is very important. There's a big difference between "let's eat, Grandma" and "let's eat Grandma."

I talk a lot to strangers on bus stops.

  18. This is so very interesting because I did talk to a stranger today. We were at the Koa breakfast place and I asked the soldier next to us how he was liking his velvet pancakes. He even offered to give me some to taste. We got to talking and he told us that he was taking a break from Tripler because his wife was having reconstruction surgery after a mastectomy. I could see what a hard time this was for him. He was worried about his wife and his four little girls. It was nice to connect with someone and learn about their life. You have to appreciate the stressless times you have in your own life. I liked the Thoreau quote also.
