Older People Tend

A L O H A !

" Older people tend
to derive more
of their satisfaction
from ordinary
 everyday experiences. "
          The Journal of Consumer Research

" A happy retirement
isn't just about
financial security."
           Forbes
[ The Money, Business, Finance Magazine ]

A British study
of well-being showed
 that, aside from teenagers,
people of pension age
 — 65 and older —
 had the highest
 life satisfaction . . .

  1. Older people may be satisfied and they keep themselves out of trouble if they don't bother too much of others. Great cloud pics Cloudia!

  3. I agree with those quotes and especially the first one. The simplest things give me the greatest pleasure. Awesome and spectacular skies you have shown us today. Have a great one my friend :)

  4. Retirement has its problems and benefits, like most stages in our lives.

The GREATEST benefit, for me, is not having to rush to work every day. Not having to rush at all if I so wish.

In other words I can take my time.

The DOWNSIDE of this is that I feel so very sorry that millions of others are still having to go through the daily rush to work. I feel rather guilty about this.

Silly old man I hear you cry, but that's my way.

    Super photos, as always Cloudia.
