Right Ways to Do

Remember when
there was one way
to do something:
The Right Way?

Enforcers of
The Right Way
can be pretty Serious
about Right & Wrong!

Scientists have found
we can ward off
Mental Decline
by sometimes doing
accustomed things
in unaccustomed ways;

Brush your teeth
with your non-dominant hand.
Take a new way home.

I get bored
with dental floss
and switch to those
disposable plastic
(Extravagant I know)

Then I get bored
and switch back.

[This could be an
argument for Polyandry]

After a while,
the Right Way
becomes stale.

Don't become stale.

I post every day,
but I shake it up too:
Sometimes it's Good,
other times a
Goof.

Thank You
for goofing around
here with us!

  4. Okie dokie, I'm brushing my teeth with my left hand tonight. :) I feel very sorry for people who think there is only one right way, they restrict themselves so much!

  8. Glad there's no fence between those feet and the water! And your dental floss theory of polyandry is quite fascinating! I love the way you change things up. That's why it's always fun to communicate with you. One word of advice: Don't let blog invisible husband know you sometimes think he's like a strip of limp, waxed string...

  9. I love your approach to life! I switched to the individual ones because regular threaded floss always broke because my teeth are so close together. I am more mindful in keeping myself to the minimum in adding to the trash piles. Most of my trash is from my kitties' litter box. lol, but true!
thanks for visiting me; I love "meeting" bloggers new to me.

  21. A number of things, like tooth brushing, are done automatically. Making a deliberate effort to use the non-preferred hand or consciously taking a different hand or method brings back mindfulness into it. Nothing routine about your posts, Cloudia. Aloha.
