Droplets

A  L  O  H  A   from   Honolulu!
Water   Droplets

" Listen to the rhythm of the falling rain
Telling me just what a fool I've been
I wish that it would go and let me cry in vain
And let me be alone again "
                                              John Claude Gummoe

Water   Droplets

" The raindrops, so many raindrops
It feels like rai-aindrops
Falling from my eye-eyes
Falling from my eyes "
                                                       Dee Clark

" Now the only girl I've ever loved has gone away
Looking for a brand new start
Little does she know that when she left that day
Along with her she took my heart "
                                      John Claude Gummoe

" Rain please tell me
now does that seem fair
For her to steal
my heart away
when she don't care
I can't love another
when my heart's
somewhere far away "
            John Claude Gummoe

Sometimes
Life's winds
drive me hard;
[ How about you? ]

0ther times,
I meander
like a raindrop
on a window
pane.
[ Know what I Mean? ]

Dancing on a breeze
shot through with
light-
look at us!
We're a rainbow
[ you and me ]

My days
are dripping
precious
from a source,
one-by-one -
Ceaseless,
but not
inexhaustible.

Wet.

Yes these are the days
that flow like wine
and cliche`
the days we share.
So thank you.

Thank You
for Dropping in-

  1. The water droplets are pretty on the leaf, Cloudia. For some unknown reason I rarely think to to take photos just after a rain, which is crazy since I love photos with water droplets.

Cloudia, you can try taking pictures of the rain at night with your flash on. Sometimes they're amazing!

  7. The song lyrics and your words about being a raindrop are lovely. Do you ever take pictures of the falling rain? Most of the time your blog pics are sunny (with rainbows).

  18. Living in a dry country, rain is a metaphor for relief in my head and heart. Wind? A whole new question.
