Animal, Human, Nature

A  L  O  H  A !
Resting Duck, Marin CA

Why do happy animals

make us more human?

 North Beach, San Francisco

"It was only in an urban landscape,
amid straight lines and architecture,
that she could situate herself in
human time and history. . .
as a bystander in a crowd
or an anonymous witness.”
                          Ruth Ozeki

" In clinical studies,
we have proven that 2
hours of nature sounds a
day significantly reduce
stress hormones up to
800% and activates
500-600 DNA segments
known to be responsible
 for healing and
repairing the body."
                  Dr. Joe Dispenza

Yesterday, I drove into
San Francisco.
That is a major city!

There is something
invigorating
about all those
people, architecture,
canyons and vistas.

I always thought
I would want to
grow old in a
great city.

But I was happy
to drive back to
the North Bay.

Nature
makes the best
home.

Nice to visit
a great city.
But healing to
live in the quiet
with ducks
as neighbors!

Thank You
for Visiting-
                    Fondly, cloudia

  1. I know where I am aging but I still haven't decided on where I wish to grow old, though I am leaning towards the Appalachians and a tin roof shack with a covered front porch and rocking chairs. Of course among the trees and nature I'd probably have a medicinal still somewhere not far off.

  10. Lana and I had a nice walk this morning. Very nice to hear the birds and see the sunlit mist through the trees.

  15. Animals make us realize how innocent everything could be. The implicit trust that they often display...especially with our furry friends.
