Larkspur CA

A  L  O  H  A !
“Living in a small town...is
like living in a large family
of rather uncongenial relations.
Sometimes it’s fun, and
sometimes it’s perfectly awful,
but it’s always good for you.
People in large towns
are like only-children.”

a small town.

It was populated

  7. Wonderful buildings! I grew up in Toronto, a large city. I cannot stand our small town here. I'm much happier in our wetland! Love your buildings.

  9. I am so impressed with the additional perspective that embiggening your photos gives. How do you do that?
And yes, on the small town front. Warmer, more welcoming. And often much, much more nosey.

  11. Love the neon sign, Cloudia! I've always been in a big city so can't compare it to a small town but a neighbourhood in a city becomes a town where you know most people by sight. I sometimes wish I could go for a walk and not meet anyone I know or sit in the park anonymously.

  12. There is a quaintness about a small town. What was written in my sky today? A rainbow of hope.
