And summer and winter
and the rain.
And it was good to be a little Island.
A part of the world
and a world of its own
All surrounded by the bright blue sea.”

November 1st
we drove up here
(Marin Country, CA)
(Marin Country, CA)
in rain & fog.
Freeze warnings,
grey skies
and lots of rain
welcomed us
to this new place.
How much can change
in 3 months!
Today feels like
Summer,
dawns and palms and
mountains under
sunny skies.
This is starting
to feel like home.
We sit outside
and take the sun.
Pixie too.
Thanks for dropping by
I am so glad that it is starting to feel like home to you (and Pixie).

ReplyDeleteThis warm weather happens every February, sometimes for up to 10 days before the weather changes back to winter. I always associate it with the flowering of the ornamental fruit trees. Mother Nature is such a tease.
ReplyDeleteGreetings and Salutations from Illinois! I always look forward to seeing your post. How lovely it is with the skies and the words blending together so beautifully. Happy Valentine's Day! Have a great week-end. You certainly live in the most wonderful spot ever.
