San Francisco Sunday

A  L  O  H  A !
I love the Golden Gate Bridge.
Slender Pagodas,
impossibly high
above the windy Bay,
whisking one into
the magic City;
Or up to the glorious
forested North.
And Home.

Cadillac Building
"He who rejects change
is the architect of decay.
The only human institution
which rejects progress
is the cemetery."

with their cogs
and spoked tires.
Cars today are
L-Ion Batteries
and computers!

And a sweet little
terracotta Bear Cub,
California's Golden Bear.
He's been watching
the street scene
in San Francisco
for a LONG time!
Did you see
his Comfort Spiral
eyes?

Cities are charged
with mystery,
energy and wonder!

Gotta ponder THAT one!

  9. What a wonderful tour. My sister-in-law was in San Francisco this weekend and shared several lovely photos of the Golden Gate in the background. She has been to the city several times since she moved out that way.

  12. I enjoy seeing where you are now, and that is one of my most favorite bridges too. My favorite place to stay there is at Fisherman's Wharf, and everything in and around there. Share more! You know I love a good mystery too!
