A Walk in San Francisco

A  L  O  H  A !
Marin Morning

I'm afraid
that if you look at a thing
long enough, it
loses all of its meaning. "

                                               Andy Warhol

So much to notice in the City
"Sometimes we're so busy
with our day-to-day routines
 that we don't step away
to where the magic happens,
 outside our comfort zones,
and live out a little dream...
while we still have healthy
 minds and good legs. :)
The time to move
forward is now. "

" Common looking people
are the best in the world:
 that is the reason the
Lord makes so many of them. "
                     Abraham Lincoln

North Beach Alley Kerouac
might have walked.
[I'm a Backstreet Girl]

“The air was soft,
the stars so fine,
the promise of every
 cobbled alley so great
that I thought I was
in a dream.”
                    Jack Kerouac

Glad I went down to the City. . .

  1. There is certainly nothing common about this post. It was fun taking a midnight walk with you!

  2. Lovely.
And have you noticed how silly a word sounds if you say it again and again? Familiarity can definitely breed contempt.

  7. Lana and I have been getting out for walks the last few days through the trees. There's where some magic happens for sure.

  10. I love walking around SF. If you're now in Marin, you'll have to check out the highlands area, just north of the Golden Gate bridge--wonderful trails especially during the fog.
