Great noticing friends! That vent is there because Kaka`ako Waterfront park is built on a reclaimed pile of dredging and waste material! I remember it as a wasteland by a great surfing spot. You folks are the BEST!
Palm trees, I love them. Interesting about what they are doing there. Years ago they built a hill and named it Mount Trashmore. Not very imaginative but we can actually say it now without connecting the dots.
Is that a ventilator for a bunker?
ReplyDeleteSplendid view.
ReplyDeleteThat's a lovely view. And the vent somehow fits in well.
ReplyDeleteJust lovely dear Cloudia:))))Love your Hawaii!
ReplyDeleteA pretty area, Cloudia!
ReplyDeleteMy nephew got married on a hill like that one in Kakaako.
ReplyDeleteLove your stylish shadow too.
ReplyDeleteAloha, cool shadow shot. Happy Sunday, enjoy your new week ahead!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful blues and greens amongst the seaside palms.
