Who You Meet in the Marin Hills

A  L  O  H  A !
“Until one has
loved an animal, a
part of one’s soul
remains unawakened.”
          Anatole France

"No wonder the hills
and groves were
God’s first temples"
                       John Muir,
                      1869 July 24th

"Everybody is born so
that they can learn to
live a good life-
like loving everybody
and being nice, right?

- Well animals already know
how to do that, so they
don't have to live so long."
           Robin Downing

  3. I love cows! I don't think I've actually touched one, perhaps in 30 years! They are ubiquitous around here.

  13. Those cows are adorable! They remind me of my grandfather's pride and joy, Rosebud he called her. I say a lovely black beauty she was.
