"If you look for the truth
outside yourself,
It gets farther
and farther away.
Today walking alone,
I meet it everywhere I step.
It is the same as me,
yet I am not it."

"For me, childhood roaming
was what developed self-reliance,
a sense of direction and
adventure, imagination, a
will to explore,
- to be able to get lost
a little lost, then figure
your way back."
Rebecca Solnit
" Kind words not only
lift our spirits
in the moment
they are given,
but they can
linger with us
over the years. "

Love Pixie.
ReplyDeleteAnd yes, the seasons are definitely changing here. Winter is still hanging on, but Spring has her foot in the door.
I love the shot of Pixie watching the ducks. It is still really hot here, although the rural areas are getting a little cooler at night :)
ReplyDeleteNo not yet, it becomes hotter and hotter.
ReplyDeleteHello, you and Pixie have wonderful views of the lagoon. It is wild seeing the dogs on the paddle boards. They must have great balance. Happy Tuesday, enjoy your day!
ReplyDeleteChildhood roaming. Brings back memories of a great childhood
ReplyDeleteI so love your comments Friends 💝

ReplyDeleteIt sure is getting cooler here! The days are shorter, the nights cool!
ReplyDeleteI'm ready for the change. Firewood is coming Friday!

Pixie is seriously focused!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful Pixie! I think my father had some gypsy blood, we did a lot of roaming when young :) Definitely noticing that spring is very close Cloudia, in fact in my garden it is already here :)
ReplyDeleteWe were allowed to roam far and wide compared to today's kids.
ReplyDeleteYes the seasons are changing. There are Monarch butterflies fluttering south and flocks of Canada Geese zooming around lately. The light has changed too. Hi Pixie!
ReplyDeleteLovely images (thoughts and photos).
ReplyDeleteThe cat in the first picture is lovely.
ReplyDeleteGreat shots! No seasonal change here yet. We are still in the throes of summer, and dealing with lots of fire smoke.
