Split the Sky

A  L  O  H  A !

"The soul can split
the sky in two
and let the face of
God shine through. "
                Edna St. Vincent Millay

 "Cars are the sculptures
of our everyday lives."

"Men, it has been well said,
think in herds; it will be seen
that they go mad in herds,
while they only recover their
senses slowly, one by one.”
               Charles Mackay

"And in the end, it's
not the years in your life
that count. It's the
life in your years.
           Abraham Lincoln

  5. Think in herds...hmm...you know, that seems very accurate, sadly.

Are you in Marin this morning? How close are you to the fires? I hope all is ok...

  11. I love Hawaii, and I love Marin County. I'm hoping that being almost surrounded by water will keep your part of the world safe from the horror that is now California. My home province, British Columbia, was wall-to-wall forest fires all summer. Horror! No other word will suffice...just horror!
    Stay safe,
