"If I had my life to live over,
I would start barefoot
earlier in the spring and
stay that way
later in the fall."
Nadine Stair
"First a howling blizzard woke us,
Then the rain came down to soak us,
And now before the eye can focus —
Crocus."
Lilja Rogers
"Hope is a roving gypsy
With laughter on her tongue,
And the blue sky and sunshine
Alone, can keep her young;
And year by year she lingers
Under a budding tree..."

ReplyDeleteHello, wonderful variety of photos. I love the lizard. The cow is a cutie too. Pretty shot of the Mocker with the blooms. Thank you for linking up and sharing your post. Thanks for the comment too. Happy Saturday, enjoy your weekend.
ReplyDeleteLove the bird in the blooming tree!
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend!
Love the way you paired the quote about the roving gypsy with the cow looking wistfully out of the pasture. It needs wire cutters...
ReplyDeleteYou each bring wonderful thoughts here that I so enjoy reading. THANKS!
ReplyDeleteThe cow looks quite stoic.
ReplyDeleteHi dear! The El Mocambo is/was on Spadina south of College near U of T. It has been closed for a while undergoing renovations with a new owner. The old sign has been brought inside and an exact replica is being mad for outside with new electronics. I spent many an evening there in the day!
ReplyDeleteThe Grasshopper gets the medal from this post :)
ReplyDeleteHappy WE, Cloudia!!
Peace :)

ReplyDeleteGreat shots! I love the crocus poem.
ReplyDeleteThe praying mantis is my favorite ... one of my sisters would like your quote about being barefoot - she has always hated wearing shoes!
ReplyDeleteThanks each of you! Thanks Pat for the construction update!
