Although our intellect
always longs for clarity
and certainty, our nature
often finds uncertainty
fascinating.
Carl von Clausewitz
Gratitude is happiness

Gilbert K. Chesterton
There is something
of the marvelous in
all things of nature.
Aristotle
Music is well said
to be the speech
of angels; in fact,
nothing among the
utterances allowed to man
is felt to be so divine.
It brings us near
to the infinite.
Thomas Carlyle
Birds sing after a storm;
why shouldn't people feel
as free to delight in
whatever sunlight
remains to them?

Granted, Cloudia I'm here to see the music mural, but Pixie stole the show and tore at my heart strings. Squiggles came from our Humane Society. I applaud you (and Pixie, too).
ReplyDeleteGreat art.
ReplyDeleteAmazing skies, Beautiful pics.
ReplyDeleteI am so glad that you and Pixie found each other. Jazz is also a rescue cat, and enriches our lives.
ReplyDeleteAnd Mr Chesterton is my vote today.
Our dog was rescued from another family as a puppy because she can be ... snotty. But she has mellowed at 10 years but still likes to growl at you every once in a while to let you know who's really in charge.
ReplyDeleteThat sky shot is glorious, and I love Pixie's adoption photo. Glad she came into our lives.
ReplyDeleteThanks for participating Cloudia.
ReplyDeleteSo glad Pixie got another chance of happiness with you :)
As always your quotations are very fitting for our times.
