I wish I knew.

So many versions

like the years just flew,

but I knew by each

successive permutation

some aspect of 

the project to

polish, or completely

smooth down.

I'm  done 

with the frown.

Oh I've seen it around.

But it can do it's job

elsewhere.

Hanging back more

but I still care,

and bringing the 

Good Stuff distilled

from mountaintops

with a dash of despair.

So there.

We're here.

And I do hold You 

dear.
