ReplyDeleteMany of our bars were closed too and are s.l.o.w.l.y reopening. And may yet slam shut again. Which is fine by me. A drink is not worth my life - or anyone else's.
I love the Rosenau quote because it is SO true and thought provoking. I also love it for the mural you have shared with Monday Murals.
ReplyDeletePersonally, I think your mayor is wise. Our bars have been opened on a 1/2 basis with hours cut. I worry about people going to bars just for the socialization. The drinking causes one to loose their inhibitions, which leads to the virus spreading. I think this is a FABULOUS photo and quote for T this upcoming Tuesday, dear.

The lockdown/shut down is really hard and devastating on businesses but if you watch what's happening in the UK and Europe, it's about to get a whole lot worse. I can understand why Honolulu is being careful.
