Turn To Shine

A L O H A From Honolulu!

At any moment,
you have a choice,
that either leads you
closer to your spirit or
further away from it.
   Thich Nhat Hanh

When we are mindful,
deeply in touch with
the present moment,
our understanding of
what is going on
deepens,
and we begin to be
filled with acceptance,
joy, peace and love.
       Thich Nhat Hanh

Light & Light

One is sleeping.
Waiting
for her turn
to shine!

We are all like poems.
some of us rhyme.
some don’t.
some are
Pulitzer prizes
some are
just scribbles
and yet,
we all possess
a special kind
of beauty
  Sanober Khan

Home is where
we tie one end of
the thread of life.
 Martin Buxbaum

It's sad to see the homeless woman's cart with all her possessions.

  11. The palm trees are glorious as usual. Feel compassion for the homeless woman. Intriguing cat inside the screen window.

  12. Somehow I missed you for T Tuesday, and I missed you for Monday Murals. I'm having a terrible time trying to play catch up, dear Cloudia. The saddest photo was of the homeless woman with all her possession in a single shopping cart.
