Love the glow behind the building in the sky shot.
ReplyDeleteGreat as always. Keep them coming.
ReplyDeleteWonderful sky.
ReplyDeleteThose plants have a metallic look at first.
ReplyDeleteI love your flora and fauna, but the photo of the man is precious!
ReplyDelete(ツ) from Cottage Country , ON, Canada!
I need to go and get some Bird of Paradise.
ReplyDeleteYour blog is a constantly updating proverb! Is Pixie sitting on the edge of the bathtub?
ReplyDeleteNice photos, all. I'm envious of those of your find, we lost three in the Southeast Texas Big Freeze four (??) years ago and it's one replacement two years later in another freeze.
ReplyDelete..
Glorious sky, and I love the opening quote. So true!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful Cloudia. Pixie too.
ReplyDeleteThank you for joining the Feline Friday Blog Hop.
Have a purrfect Feline Friday and weekend. Scritches to Pixie. ♥
The trees we lost were Palm Trees, first three were very tall. The last on was shorter, "cold resistant" supposedly.

I am so grateful for my eyes. When I was in 6th grade, I got to go to blind school only if I did chores around the classroom. The minute I found out I could go there I was Miss Helpful. I learned so much. Like how to fill a cup by listening to the sound. Feel the belt loops and then put the belt through. But I have sight. They had to do everything without sight. I admire those children in that classroom so much. Of course, they are adults now. But yes, it Odd, the public elementary school was attached to the blind school.
ReplyDeleteYes it is important to look in another person's eyes. Howdy Pixie! Love that shadow.
Nice pictures! The man looks like he just finished doing an inventory.
ReplyDeleteBucks County was great, especially in Fall.
Jolly Friends!!!
ReplyDeleteI like the Richardson quote - those birds of paradise are gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteLove this post with a theme of few words.
ReplyDeleteWhen I was still working and had young people I always tried to tell them to just tell the truth when some messup happened. Just say it and get it over with. If you are trying to explain something then all you are doing is digging yourself a hole.
Wonderful Strelitzias! It is very hot in Finland now, my kitties spend the days sleeping in the house where the air condition is on. They go out early in the morning and late in the evening. Hugs.
