A L O H A From Honolulu!
You may think that you
are completely insignificant
in this world.
But someone drinks coffee
from the favorite cup
that you gave them.
Someone heard a song
on the radio that
reminded them of you.
that you recommended, and
plunged headfirst into it.
Someone smiled after a
hard day of work, because
they remembered the joke
that you told them today.
a little bit more, because
you gave them a compliment.
Never think that you have
no influence whatsoever.
deed which you leave behind
cannot be erased.

I hope that in the new year
all people and all animals
are healthy and have
good luck and success!

I do feel insignificant. Thanks for the nudge that there are other ways to think.
ReplyDeleteAdore You
ReplyDeletePixie is definitely looking regal and ready to bring good fortunate and happiness to us all in her year!! Happy Lunar New Year to you both!! More lion dancers to celebrate Pixie would be nice....
ReplyDeleteDo people really remember the jokes?
ReplyDeleteHello,
ReplyDeleteGreat photos, Pixie looks ready to have a happy new year!
Take care, have a great new week.
How perfectly beautiful, Cloudia.
ReplyDeleteThis is a terrific quote. Kinda like Kinda like that Christmas movie. wonderful.
ReplyDeleteWords to remember on days when you feel down.
ReplyDeleteLove that family with the children that all look like their mother so much.
Good doggie!
ReplyDeleteWe have all sorts of impact, don’t we? For example: You taught me something today: it’s the Year of the Rabbit in most of Asia, but in Vietnam, it’s the Year of the Cat. Why? There are many inconclusive or obviously wrong answers, but no one really knows!

Excellent thinking. It's the little things that most of us can do.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the visit. I am happy to visit back.
...dressing alike makes me smile.
ReplyDeleteI agree with that anonymous’ quote. Aloha, Cloudia and Pixie!
ReplyDeleteI often tell my friends with children that even one word of disapproval can out weigh 10 words of praise. Therefore parents should praise often and discipline ONLY when the child has been very bad, not when they have done something silly.
ReplyDeleteEC told me two weeks ago about this being the year of the cat, so I was delighted to see you went with the Cat rather than the traditional Rabbit like I did.
LOVE that mural. Isn't that one of the Missions?
Fabulous quote Cloudia! I had no idea it was also the year of the cat, I only knew about the year of the Rabbit.
ReplyDeleteLovely mural too, thanks for participating in Monday Murals Cloudia.
