Looking for peace is like
looking for a turtle with
a mustache: You won’t
be able to find it. But
when your heart is ready,
peace will come
looking for you.

  1. Perhaps I am a jungle person (here in suburbia).

  2. Pixie wants the gecko and the triple-named bird to immediately surrender to her regal feline superiority. That will make her feel peaceful and happy. Gorgeous shots and profound quotes today.

  3. That is one intense "jungle cat." Super photos today. Had to laugh at the idea of a turtle with a mustache. Enjoyed learning about the charm of finches.

  4. Hello, Cloudia

    I guess Pixie does not mind you sharing your blog with another cute kittie.
    Love the Java Finch, the cute gecko and the turtles.

  5. The turtles look like the little ones that they used to sell in dime stores when I was a child. You could buy the tiny turtle, the bowl, and a little box of food and have a pet.

  6. The Java Finch is very pretty. The turtles are nice to see, I remember having them as a kid and would watch them for hours. Thank you for the memory and have a great weekend.

  15. Hello Cloudia :=)
    The Java Finch is a beauty, and I didn't know that a group of Finches is called a charm,...how charming! The Turtle with a mustache quote made me smile. Great critter post, I love the photo of the Gecko on the fabulous Yellow Heliconia.The grey cat is waiting to pounce on a bird or a mouse and Pixi's intense look is fixed on something, perhaps the other cat!
    All the best.
