A L O H A From Honolulu!
We are what our thoughts
have made us;
so take care about
what you think.
Words are secondary.
Thoughts live;
they travel far.
Swami Vivekananda
Heal in the shadows.
Celebrate in the sun.
Celebrate in the sun.
Rest is not idleness, and
to lie sometimes on the grass
under trees on a summer’s day,
listening to the murmur
of the water, or watching
the clouds float across the sky,
is by no means a waste of time.
J. Lubbock
The true poem rests
between the words.
Vanna Bonta
Sit down before fact
as a little child,
be prepared to give up
every preconceived notion...
or you shall learn nothing.
Thomas H. Huxley
As long as the sun
does not set in your mind,
darkness will be nothing
but a weak shadow
in your life!

Pixie sees little birds and approves.
ReplyDeleteWow! That fly really sat still for you!
ReplyDeleteI think I need to rest my brain for a while too.
The ducks reminded me of the baby duck we found in our backyard. Its family was long gone. I took it to a local park and put it in the pond where another duck family was living. They adopted the orphan right away.
ReplyDeletePixie has given up her preconceived notions about flies and is now learning by observing. I am just celebrating in the sun today!
ReplyDeleteCharming as always. Tho yesterday I lay on the floor in the sun to 'heal'....stupid covid.
