When shall all men's good
Be each man's rule,
And universal peace
Lie like a shaft of light
Across the land,
And like a lane of beams
Athwart the sea

The heart has its reasons,
which reason does not know.

Thousands have lived without love,
not one without water.
W. H. Auden
If Smart water is so smart
then how did it get bottled?
I said HYDRATE!

It is the least privileged,
not the most, who excel
in appreciating the
smallest of offerings.

Gorgeous sky shot at the top today. I love all the pictures of fire hydrants. Pixie is wondering why the fire hydrant got a lei, but she didn't. I suggest a catnip lei for her.
ReplyDeleteThank you for our daily dose of beauty and wise my friend. Aloha!
ReplyDeleteFire hydrants. The color of the body tells what entity owns it. The color of the top tells what flow rate is available from it. The color of the connection caps tells what size the connector is. If someone paints a hydrant, they cover up all this information.
ReplyDeleteMary Pipgher wins my quote of the day award today. Thank you - and her.
ReplyDeleteIt is so cute to see hydrants in different make ups.

ReplyDeleteI love the flowers on the hydrant, Cloudia. Way to make something so mundane so vibrant!
