Desk Doggy Finds Solace

A L O H A From Honolulu!

You live longer once you realize that any time spent being unhappy is wasted. Ruth E. Renkl

She dwells in an inch,
luxuriant lady of light.
Her boat, a bloom,
on the afternoon stream,
Model of repose, her tranquil dream.

Desk doggy finds solace
In his quiet solitude.
Soulful eyes investigate
Beseeching - never rude.

Resolve to be tender with
the young, compassionate
with the aged, sympathetic
with the striving, and
tolerant of the weak
and the wrong.
Sometime in life you will
have been all of these.

Love You,
Pixie & Cloudia

  3. Pixie looks like she's on a mission. Is she going to give "Desk Doggie" solace? Or is she on the prowl for tuna treats?

  15. Beautiful photographs, especially the last. As I get older and older, the more I realize that being happy is kind of decision rather than a state of being. There is no shortage of things to be upset about.
