Inhale The Calm

A L O H A From Honolulu!

Sun sinks low, escaped the cold, Shoes kicked off his story unfolds.
Cups of tea whisper peace, Muscles loosen worries released. No deadlines to chase nor tasks remain, Just the slow hush
of falling rain. Inhale the calm!

Flower of the Calabash Tree
When you get into a tight place and everything goes against you, till it seems as though you could not hang on a minute longer, never give up then, for that is just
the place and time that the tide will turn. Harriet Beecher Stowe

Pelodiscus sinensis / Chinese SoftShell Turtle
Soft shell, gentle soul,
Glides through water,
smooth and whole.

No hard shell, no need to hide,
Wisdom flows from deep inside.

Patience in her watchful eyes,
Sees secrets dance beneath the skies.

Softly speaks to those who hear,
Find peace within, and have no fear.

Unfold your own myth.

  8. Loved the Dickenson quote...had to read it through twice, and noticed my shoulders release by the second time...thanks. Those Santa figures are so cute. It's always good to see your photos and quotes here. I often stop to see them daily, but this is probably the first time I've commented. (I tend to lurk I guess.)
