A L O H A From Honolulu!
I like ephemera
And music overheard
Things of the moment
Happening in the wind.
Vignettes becoming
And passing away.
Bustle of the city streets
Bird song bright and gay
Waves at beach-side
Each one unique then gone
Appearing all the same
Variations on a song.
Opuntia tuna is a species of cactus |
The things of the world knew
so much more than we did
and lived them more truly.
The thorn trees had no grief or fear.
The constellations didn't fight or
hold themselves back, nor did
the translucent hook of the moon.
Everything was momentary and endless.
Paula McLain
The most important thing
about translucent people is
that their life has been deeply
transformed by an awakening.
Arjuna Ardagh
I think the main way that
somebody would know they're
translucent is that their life
has become more about the
embodiment of Spirit than about
acquisition, and that may be
something that creeps up on you.
Arjuna Ardagh
...neither bashful nor forward,
with a soul that seemed submerged,
but in a radiant moistness.
Opalescent on the surface but
translucent in her depths ...

Santa Claus is anyone
who loves another and
seeks to make them happy;
who gives himself...
...in every gift
that he bestows.
