A L O H A From Honolulu!
No winter lasts forever;
no spring skips its turn.
Hal Borland
Defiance that fuels division
only feeds the fire.
Defiance fueled by kindness
builds bridges and sparks healing.
Iyanla Vanzant
The baker's grin,
the poet's sigh,
The warrior's scar,
the dreamer's eye.
The queen's disdain,
the jester's leer,
A tower of faces,
calling us near.
Mosaic of moods,
and clash of desires,
Fueling the world
from deep hidden fires.
Though faces may differ,
and stories may stray,
Together we build, up
this grand, human play.
Cloudia
There wouldn't be
a sky full of stars if
we were all meant to
wish on the same one.

Love You,
Cloudia & Pixie
💚
I love Nature's painting in the sky in your first shot, and the magnificent statue above Pixie, who seems surprised by its complexity. The last picture looks like a closeup of a painting??? Did you go into that gallery and browse around? What other treasures did you find, besides a passel of kindness?
ReplyDeleteEverything takes its turns, good or bad.
ReplyDeleteI agree with roentare.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful sky, love the flower and your sweet Pixie.
ReplyDeleteTake care, have a great day!
...time to fill up with kindness.
ReplyDeleteThe ceramic (?) sculpture of faces is amazing. Disturbing in ways, so I wouldn't want to live with it. But it tells me a skillful artist made it.
ReplyDeleteLove the tower of faces. A lovely post, Cloudia. ;-)
ReplyDeleteThe poem acknowledging the tower of faces is fabulous, Cloudia.
ReplyDeleteBlessings!
Is that your poem? It is terrific.
ReplyDeleteYes it is. Thank you Jen. I forgot to sign it again. I will sign them from now on! I appreciate your wonderful comment and visit. Thanks each of you!
ReplyDeleteDO you promise that about winter and spring? 😊
ReplyDeleteActually, it is almost spring-like here today.
We've had 'spring winter' here in St. Louis this year. it was 72 degrees yesterday. Our spring flowers are starting to pop. They are going to get zapped big time when winter sneaks back.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful sky.
ReplyDeleteLovely photos and wonderful quotes.
ReplyDeleteGreat Hal Borland quote and GREAT picture and poem by someone named Cloudia. Keep an eye on her, Pixie.
ReplyDeleteWonderful poem, Cloudia!
ReplyDeleteA gorgeous sky in that first shot.
ReplyDeleteThe quotes and poems you feature are always interesting.
ReplyDeleteVisiting from Skywatch Friday group.
