A L O H A From Honolulu!
At heart we may yearn
for distant shores,
But inertia won't
release the oars.
To break that spell
is a decision we make,
our growth resides
in the choice to awake.
Cloudia
Let's go to the beach
in this fun sunny car!
The surfboards are
almost longer
than the Fiat!
Your mind is a garden,
your thoughts are the seeds.
You can grow flowers,
or you can grow weeds.
William Wordsworth
Convivial
As day surrenders,
to skies ablaze,
Our faces glow
in golden haze.
Embers paint
the western sky,
We gather 'round
our heartfelt tie.
Laughter spills
like golden wine,
This feast for friends
such sweet design.
It's tapestries
of joy we weave,
In moments when
we know, not believe.
For time suspended
holds us fast
In this perfection
when day has passed.
In mellowing light
all peace descends,
Worries banished
friendship transcends.
This changing hour
as stars begin to gleam,
We share our cherished
joyful dream.
Cloudia
The quality of our love
determines the quality
of our wisdom and
together these determine
our quality as a person.
Emmanuel Swedenborg

ReplyDeleteI love the, "Let's go to the beach" with that yellow car. Have a nice day today.
ReplyDeleteThe mural was a favorite of mine over many years. When the building was redeveloped, attempts were considered to save the mural but it was too integral to the structure of the building and they claim it would have been prohibitively expensive to try and keep it. Thank you for enjoying it with me! Bless each of you. Lol
ReplyDeleteI love your sweetie cat!
ReplyDeleteLoved the photo and your poem, Convivial, Cloudia. I really felt present in the moment you captured.
