A L O H A From Honolulu!
The Moon is always there.
A half blink of shadow,
a crescent of an eyelash,
opulent in fullness, spellbound
in nothingness, and a friend.

If you can't explain it
to a six year old, you don't
understand it yourself.

Green is nice, but oh so plain,
Time to paint the world insane!
Jacaranda standing tall,
The prettiest surprise of all!
Shower of confetti bright,
Like fairies dipped
In lavender light.
Her sidewalk turned
A wonderland,
Of carpet soft and
Oh so grand!
Among the petals
Light and sweet,
A lilac dream
Beneath our feet.
Inside it's shade
A world transformed,
Magic land
Where dreams are born.

If you are ever caught in a trap,
just relax as much as you can
and it will become a trapeze!
When I am silent,
I have thunder
hidden inside.
