A L O H A From Honolulu!
Gratitude unlocks
the fullness of life,
turns what we have
into enough, and more!
Melody Beattie
There was a pigeon
Or perhaps a dove
Who loved a little fountain
And visited everyday.
Who loved a little fountain
And visited everyday.
Folks in the neighborhood
noticed when she passed away...
...But then something happened.
This dove-shaped stone appeared.
And when the neighbors pass
They still see her spirit here.
And when the neighbors pass
They still see her spirit here.
Beneath the waves,
where kelp sways slow,
A love story bubbles,
A love story bubbles,
don't you know?
Lobster lad, eyes so bright,
This lovely lass his crimson delight.
Their dance a waltz or slow ballet,
Under the ocean
This lovely lass his crimson delight.
Their dance a waltz or slow ballet,
Under the ocean
where current and sunlight play.
Briney whispers, a secret vow,
Two armored hearts allow somehow
Love's embracing oceanic sweep,
Happy lobster love
to hold and to keep!
Their silent vow, a heartfelt click,
Two lobster souls, forever linked.
A love untold, yet understood,
Two armored souls in together-hood.
Two lobster souls, forever linked.
A love untold, yet understood,
Two armored souls in together-hood.
Salty sweet, this love they share,
Lobster's vow crustacean prayer.
O God, help me to believe
the truth about myself,
no matter how beautiful it is.

I love your lobster poem. Pixie thinks they might be better in a lobster bisque instead of a love affair, though.
