Glass Boat Gaze

A L O H A From Honolulu!

If the sight of the blue skies fills you with joy, if a blade of grass springing up in the fields has power to move you, if the simple things of nature have a message that you understand, rejoice, for your soul is alive.
    Eleonora Duse

Take hold of grace, for
younger you will never be.
        Swedish Proverb

This poem is a vessel of words,
 Glass-bottomed boat
Over the reef of my heart.
Where sunlight pierces,
Illuminating deep,
Secrets revealed
Where shadows creep.

Moral Coral in vibrant displays,
Emotions tangled in complex ways.
Love's crimson hues, passion's green glow,
Some sorrowful shadows, where dark waters flow.

Through the glass my curious eye,
Inland ocean where my feelings lie.
I'm a fragile vessel,
Traversing a turbulent sea,
Borne on by hope, ship-shape and free.

  4. Nice poem about the moral coral that can shatter a glass bottom at ease but you manage to let it float free. Great way of using words.
