Renaissance Of Wonder

A L O H A From Honolulu!

Life may not be the
party we hoped for,
but while we're here
we should dance.
 Folk Wisdom

The good and the wise
lead quiet lives.
      Euripides

We need a renaissance of wonder.
We need to renew, in our
hearts and in our souls,
the deathless dream,
the eternal poetry, the
perennial sense that
life is miracle and magic.
E. Merrill Root

Hope is being able to see that
there is light despite all of
the darkness.
    Desmond Tutu

  1. I love the renaissance of wonder shot of droplets on the leaf and Pixie wondering how the steps go to a renaissance dance. The rainbow ties it all up with a colorful bow.

  12. I just read a quote something along the lines of when you think you're down in the dirt, you're just being planted. Love it. Happy Halloween!

  14. Love the quote by Desmond Tutu. I also believe in hope. A brilliant quote and image associated with Euripides. It is a great one for T this week, dear Cloudia. Thanks for sharing these with us for T Tuesday.

  18. Lovely music. I always like your music choices. It's great if I remember them, but very interesting when I've never heard anything like it like today. What is the traditional instrument of Hawaii? (before the settlers I mean)
Great quotes again. I like the Desmond Tutu one and the great and wise live quiet lives.
    Happy T-Day,
    Lisca

    1. Before contact there were drums made of gourds that are still in use today for hula, and Hawaiian nose flute. A very interesting instrument. I understand that in the old days you would hear sweet flute music in the evenings. Aloha and thank you for your visit
