Sings The Western Sky

A L O H A From Honolulu!
Crimson sings
the western sky, Sun dips low
as we all sigh. Streetlights share
a guiding hand, On Oahu's North Shore,
Tired and Tanned.

  1. I love the song. It brings back very old childhood memories.

  2. Good start of the week again. I assume that the photo's like the effeminate young man you made yourself on the street. Good street photography.

  4. Loved the trust that Pixie shows by letting her wonderful white belly be open for maybe a rub...or maybe not if she's a delicate kind of cat.

  7. Love your poem (with Pixie's input) and the sky shot. I can't tell if Pixie is flaked out because she's tired and tanned from a jaunt on the North Shore or if she's contemplating HER next outfit as a dedicated follower of fashion (or just thinking about the fashion sense of that guy in the second pic)... That song was a great start to my day.

  11. I never find a way to take photos of people on the street like the one you posted, pictures that really show a character. Nice job.

  12. I loved the shirt the man was wearing. He wore it well. Nice to see his drink, too.

I've never heard that song by the Kinks. Maybe before my time. At least Pixie is a fashionista. Thanks for sharing your lovely photos and quotes, along with the drink, for T this week, dear Cloudia.
