Life,
what an exquisite privilege.

I am awaiting a great
Renaissance of kindness,
When love will bloom
Like flowers in gentleness.
When hearts will open
wide and true,
Embracing all
With compassion anew.
In a dawn
Of gentle grace,
Forgiveness flowing
A warm embrace.
With every breath
A new world will arise,
Where kindness reigns
And souls recognize
The beauty of our shared
Humanity that shines,
Radiant tapestry
Of hearts and minds.

When first meeting a new neighbor, and admiring her many plants, I said "It's good to see you also love life." I meant natural beauty, but she certainly understood that life is the force behind it.
ReplyDeleteIt would be wonderful if the "renaissance of kindness" would come soon.
ReplyDeleteLove your hopeful poem, Iris.
ReplyDeleteIs Pixie getting rolled up in the carpet again?
