Even the deepest night cannot swallow the brilliance of a thousand sparks.
The dark sky, ablaze with fireworks, whispers that light and wonder are never far away.
The end of all our exploring will be to arrive where we started and know the place for the first time.
T.S. Eliot,
Little Gidding
White Tern, also known as a Fairy Tern
or Manu-o-Kū in Hawaiian
If you cannot find the truth right where you are, where else do you expect to find it?
Dōgen
Upon your bed
I muse and see
The human world tapestry.
I am but cat, and in my eyes
You flicker like stars
kind and wise.
We are the why
therefore thereof
Each purr we share
the theme of our love.

"Kerning" refers to the adjustment of space between letters in typography. It can also be used informally to describe instances of poor kerning, where letters are placed too closely or too far apart.
Another lovely Pixie poem. I also like the picture of the fairy tern and the South Park fail :)
ReplyDeleteBoth Eliot’s reflection and Pixie’s gentle verse remind us that whether through grand journeys or quiet companionship, we return to what matters with new eyes and deeper love
ReplyDeletePoet-ixie is also a fantastic find. A great way to play with words.
ReplyDeleteThe white tern is a stunning bird.
ReplyDeleteI never did use a pen with my tablet. I mean, I tried but then didn’t bother.
ReplyDeleteLovely words, yay Pixie!
ReplyDeleteHi Pixie!
ReplyDeleteYour white bird reminds me that I saw a sea gull fly over me the other day. And since I live in western North Carolina, the closest beach is maybe 300 miles away, it was a bit of a surprise.
ReplyDeleteI love Pixie's words here, as always, Cloudia. What would we do without her?
ReplyDeletePixie is at ease.
ReplyDeletePixie is rather deep today, Cloudia. ;-)
ReplyDeleteLove the canoe, the Tern and Pixie and her words.
ReplyDeleteTake care, have a great day and happy week ahead.
