Dolphin Clouds and Sidewalk Dreams

 A  L  O  H  A
From
Honolulu

Leaping high
through morning blue, Dolphin clouds
in sunlight flew.
Gray and silver,
light with play, They chase away tears
the storm set astray.
Skies that wept
now softly gleam, Like laughter rising
from a dream. The world exhales
— the sea, the air — Joy returns,
and all is fair.
Cloudia & Pixie

Early evening's buzz and glow,
she pauses at the edge of the sidewalk. Palm shadows dance like whispered secrets across her bare shoulders,
a fleeting poem to passersby
she will never know she wrote.

  2. Nice photos. Your geckos seem to pose and know when you're taking a pic of them. Maybe Pixie taught them. Linda in Kansas

  14. Beautiful poem by you and Pixie. Dolphin clouds, perfect. I remember the nights in Hawaii, there is an emotion about the fragrance and heat. I miss that. I didn't see you linked up but thank you for sharing with FFO and have a very nice weekend.
