Insect Dancers

My health renews itself
with each passing day.
My paths are open to
what is meant for me.
Prosperity flows into my life
in ways I can't even imagine yet.
True love exists in my life,
and I deserve to receive it.
I am protected, I am blessed,
I love myself. Li Shen

The privilege
of a lifetime
is being
who you are.
              Joseph Campbell

In realms unseen,
on emerald leaves,
Where sunlight strains
through dappled weaves,

Upon a petal,
clean and bright,
Tiny dancers
rest from flight.

Until they leave
with wings unfurled,
Intrepid folk
of nature's world.

Some giants scoff,
"A speck, no more!"
But scoffing hearts
are often sore.

So spread your wings,
wee insect friend,
And dance among
the blooms, again!

Small or large,
beneath the sky,
We all share life,
and yearn to fly.
Cloudia Charters

What kept me sane
was knowing that
things would change,
and it was a question of
keeping myself together
until they did.
Nina Simone

  1. It is truly a privilege to experience all that life has to offer. But we have to remember to appreciate it. I had a stressful day yesterday, but life is sort of a cycle. It will have its difficult moments and then we have to look for the bright spots that will eventually shine through. Have a happy week, Cloudia. Sending you lots of love from my side of the island.

  7. Good photos. I like the elephant statue (which seems to be from a number of years ago).

  10. I love your poem and all the shots of tiny critters (and of not-so-tiny Pixie Cat). Nina Simone knew what she was talking about!

  13. Aloha Cloudia, your opening quote really spoke to me, well pretty much every other one as well. I think it should be read every single day! You know I read once that during lunch you should look at a photo of someone you love, it supposedly nurtures your heart and soul if you do. May your Easter be everything filled with love and peace. 14. Gotta look for that second moon on my next visit. Maybe a second mai tai would help. Mr. Gecko seems to have grown. The dainty little bees are hopefully out of his path. Not for Pixie to chase! Linda in Kansas
