it's going to be a great day.

would be no life at all.
And stories bound us
did they not: one to another,
the living to the dead,
people to animals,

ReplyDeleteHappy April 🥰
Amazing sky view, Beautiful post.
ReplyDeleteGreetings to you and Pixie :)
Beautiful sky captures , all your photos are lovely.
ReplyDeleteGreat collection of quotes.
Take care, have a great day and a happy weekend.
May we all practice patience with ourselves and others. Beautiful, Cloudia!
ReplyDeleteI got to think about the two definitions of ‘patient’. Perhaps one has to be patient about waiting to be a patient.
ReplyDeleteI laugh at a commercial for some medicine or another where they show a gorgeous hunk of a man in a hospital bed, being treated kindly by a nursing female. He could not possible need their medicine! No way!
ReplyDelete...I have yet to develop patience.
ReplyDeleteI'd like to patiently sit near the surf board and his Easter Island guy, picking up the understanding vibes from wise ancestors. Linda in Kansas
ReplyDeleteI would love that every patient could understand the kindly word or cheerful greeting but unfortunately.
ReplyDeleteI love the woman and her dog and everything she brought to make them comfortable, Cloudia. ;-)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photos and quotations as always! Happy Easter to you!
ReplyDeletePatience is a hard one for me.
ReplyDeleteGreat quotes, great photos. I especially loved the Alexander McCall Smith quote.
ReplyDeleteWhen I studying in MBA school, we had an organizational behavior professor who talked about the power of stories. She said stories bypasses the frontal cortex and goes right down the core of a person's being. I believe it and to the consternation of coworkers and bosses that is how I tried to reach customers and I thought it worked. (most of the time)

ReplyDeleteBeautiful photos! Love to you and Pixie :)
ReplyDeleteI love the photo of the Easter Island style head, surf board and that fun funky furniture. Very Hawaii. Have a great weekend, and give Pixie a pat for me.
ReplyDeleteI love the photo of the little dog sitting on guard while its owner doom scrolls. Is that dog looking out for a visit from Pixie?? Or for tiki gods on the loose?
ReplyDeleteAwesome pics. The woman's Trader Joe's bag made me
ReplyDeleteremember when I was a kid Trader Joe's and Vans shoes were pretty much just a So. California thing. They come a long way.😊
