Aloha
it's
Saturday in
Waikiki.
Welcome Friend
click the photos,
and click your heels together while repeating:
"There's no place like the blogosphere."
At the end of the rainbow. . .
"Mere color, unspoiled by meaning,
and unallied with definite form,
can speak to the soul in a thousand different ways."
Most people seem to look for the end of the rainbow, I want to see the spot where it starts.
ReplyDeleteThe rainbow and parrots are just lovely! I'm so glad that psunami didn't materialise. x
ReplyDeleteMy husband and I honeymooned on Waikiki beach and our postcard home is a photo of the two of us with two beautiful amazon parrots on our shoulders...

The birds are so beautiful. Fly, birds, fly!
ReplyDeleteA small blessing that it was to arrive at 11 a.m. and not 2 a.m. and a great blessing that it wasn't a terrible tragedy of water. Happy you are now seeing rainbows.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photos and quotes to go with them...and I love Lucy's! :)

Thank you for this amazing photography of yours, years since last i saw a rainbow with me own eyes.
ReplyDeleteIf one is high enough, without a horizon at all, it might even be possible to see it as a closed ring, until that will be possible for me, it's nice to come into this spiral of colourful joy.
A wonderful Sunday for you.
Thanks for the rainbow, my friend!
ReplyDeleteThere is sunshine and 50's weather in western massachusetts today!
I was so worried last week...and am so glad it ended up being a non-event (well, in Hawaii, anyway.)
ReplyDeleteYour lens on the world continues to inspire. The reflective water shot is unbelievably perfect.
