Aloha, Friend

Welcome
to

Sunday

click on the clouds for a magical ride

"I have the nerve to walk my own way,

however hard,

in my search for reality, rather than climb upon

the rattling wagon of wishful illusions."

- Letter from Zora Neale Hurston to Countee Cullen

"Great works are performed not by strength

but by perseverance."

-Samuel Johnson

"Much of the beauty of art emerges

through the struggle of the artist with his limited medium."
Henri Mattisse

And now...

  10. That was genuinely a soul restorative, Cloudia. Such refreshing pictures, with so many beautiful colors.

I tried to listen to the song, I did. It turns out nothing can render that song something I wish to listen to, even when the person singing it is someone I truly admire, and enjoy. So I settled for remembering him, and clicked sound off :-)

Oh what a beautiful part of the world you live in. Thank you for sending my mind there today.

  16. Awesome pics- pricy flower- We have a wild endangered orchid here in the woods across the road known as Lady Slippers, which cannot be transplanted, n have roots 3 feet down! They're pink n purple striped too- not as bright as that one.
The ripple-reflection of buildings pic is fantastic!
    Thanks for sharing
