"There is no season
when such pleasant and sunny spots may be lighted on,
and produce so
pleasant an effect on the feelings,
as now in October."
Nathaniel Hawthorne
My boat is ever moving,
at a certain time, a certain angle,
a shaft of sun interpolates
and the swinging silver spiral
collaborates
for fleeting seconds
to produce a shadow twin.
Spirals
for EVERYONE!
And then:
gone.
Koko Head
"I am a lonely painter,
I live in a box of paints."
Joni Mitchell

"What is not love
is fear.
Anger
is one of fear's most potent
faces.
And it does exactly
what the fearful ego wants it to do:
It keeps us from receiving
love
at exactly the moment
that we need it
most."
Marianne Williamson & cloudia
I love the little fleeting spiral and the textures and colours of the noodle factory.

The wordings must be digested according to the scenery.. well posted, Cloudia..
ReplyDeleteI love the picture of sunlight on wood!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful sky shot.
ReplyDeleteWhat you say of anger makes me think of a student who acts out for her teachers. The theory is she does that so her teachers won't notice that she is illiterate. She does not act out in my class but lets her peers help her, and she thrives. She is climbing out of her paint box and creating quite a work of art in the process.
ReplyDeleteThanks for this post.
Haloha! 1st time dropping by in Hawaii, the pictures are so beautiful with good saying too... you must be a professional photographer!^-^
ReplyDeleteHave a lovely day and nice to know more about your beautiful country!
The sunlight shining on the piece of timber with the spiral in the corner is delicate and fragile and wins hands down. Joni Mitchell is another brillant songwriter and poet. Best album is Blue worth a listen.
