Bonza photo of the sunset/sunrise and the quote by John Evelyn rings true :-).
ReplyDeleteLovely. Just for a change (not). Thanks.
ReplyDeleteAfter being gone on another trip I just finished reading all your updates. What a great tribute to your friend Carl – it was so very moving – he sounds like he was a treasure. Your posts are always filled with such philosophical sayings, too. You grew up in Philadelphia – we moved to Ardmore when my husband went to the University of Pennsylvania to get his Master’s Degree. My youngest daughter was born in Lankenau hospital. I liked Philadelphia – we lived in an Italian area and made many friends – people were so friendly there – I miss that around here. We lived there 2 years. When we moved to Atlanta I asked where the Italian area was – they did not have one. But now you live the life that so many of us would dream of living – on a boat in Waikiki! It is always a pleasure to visit your blog.
