Rainbow Saturday

A L O H A !

Hope YOU are not bored yet with Rainbows

" The first study
of the one who wishes to be a poet
is complete knowledge of himself. "

Rimbaud

Perhaps something grittier?
That's what I love about Honolulu:
it is a real city
set on a lovely island!

" The city is not a concrete jungle,
it is a human zoo.  "

Desmond Morris

Your daily necessities most likely reached you in a truck/lorry;
Here on the Hawaiian Isles, ours travel by sea.

"The art of the sailor is to leave nothing to chance."
Annie Van De Wiele

" If you can't repair it, maybe it shouldn't be on board ."

Lin and Larry Pardey

"Ships are the nearest thing
to dreams
that hands have ever made."

Robert N. Rose

Here's my new slideshow!
                                                Thanks for visiting- Warmly, cloudia

  1. I never get tired of looking at Rainbows, just as I never get tired of looking at skyscrapers...The best of both worlds...Loved the slideshow, I must do one of them for New York one of these days, Cheers from the NYC CC ~ Edward :-)

  3. I know myself well enough but in finding out about myself I found out about humanity.

And in that I found out that rainbows though beautiful, they are are very narrow and sharp, and many generations ago we used to slide on them and that was how we all evolved an ass crack.

Poets though really don't need ass cracks for obvious reasons.

  6. The city is indeed a human zoo; it also produces most of the outcasts that dwell in my classroom.
