Morning After

A   L   O   H   A  !
The Morning After by Maureen McGovern on Grooveshark
I love
"The Day After."

For many
in the path of the storm,
the day after
is Day One
of a long haul;

Perhaps the first day
of a new way of life
without home,
livelihood,
or loved ones.

They won't be
forgotten.

 But for most of us,
the lucky ones,
we return
to the blessings
usually too 'normal'
to be noticed.

The dew,
 'Tis of the tears
 which stars weep,
sweet
 with joy. ”
Philip James Bailey

  2. But there was such a variety..them that loved high surf it was there, dame for rain, snow and the closing of the stock market. especially the closing of the market, except for the loss of life what was to not like about Sandy? Even though not in the storms path had so far 2 days of wind to rake the leaves up for us...well except for the guy on the very end who had a fence uo tp block his property from the alley...even him though, we'll help him bag up our leaves.

Hell I might even get my typing skills back.

  20. Here in Massachusetts, we escaped fairly unscathed, luckily.

Good of you to keep up the morale of those most affected.

  22. I had never heard of that quote as the stars weep.

Not sure if everyone will be able to embrace it at first...but would be healthy for those that do.
