I love
"The Day After."
"The Day After."
For many
in the path of the storm,
the day after
is Day One
of a long haul;
Perhaps the first day
of a new way of life
without home,
livelihood,
or loved ones.
They won't be
forgotten.
They won't be
forgotten.
But for most of us,
the lucky ones,
we return
to the blessings
usually too 'normal'
to be noticed.
“ The dew,
'Tis of the tears
which stars weep,
sweet
with joy. ”
Philip James Bailey

with joy. ”

ReplyDeleteNot sure if everyone will be able to embrace it at first...but would be healthy for those that do.
