Ah, the beautiful hibiscus. Can you believe that ours is still producing flowers even though the days are dramatically shorter, night temps are dropping, and it's been pouring rain. Never realized how hardy they are.
I like your quotation but you know I would say it another way today: “I love music. I feel it inside me. It makes me warm inside.”
I am thinking about Dave Brubeck who passed away yesterday. I just listened to one of my favorite pieces by him (from my old 33 LP bought in the 60s “Time Out”) called “Take five.” He was a jazz giant.
