an orphan,
living on the street.
Would you do so
in order for the child
to be your servant?
Would you put the child
would you send them back
to the street?
No.
Of course the child
is valuable as a person,
a soul -
not merely as
a producer.
Why do we judge
ourselves SO harshly?
We whip ourselves,
we shame ourselves-
but YOU & I
are destitute children,
renewed every day
by Unfathomable Kindness.
none of our treasures
are 'earned'
though we work;
in your own care-
just give
You-CHILD-Self
You-CHILD-Self
the same care
you would give
a street child
sleeping on your
couch !
