I do not enjoy loud crashing sounds.
EXCEPT at New Year!

How busy! The big dragons look huge and heavy, and the younger kids are amazing. If you need to bang a gong, bang the gong softly, as I sleep in late.

To "Kick the Gong" was slang in early 20th Century America for smokimg opium.

Incidentally, Teresa is practically a native Chinese speaker, professional translator and published scholar! Google Translator has it's limitations, as she shows us.
