The bird's looking at Pixie: "what are you looking at?"
ReplyDeleteI've never heard of a general purpose duck before. 😄
ReplyDeleteLOVE Pixie's chat with the birdie! (I would mistake every brownish duck in Hawaii as the nene duck.) Linda in Kansas
ReplyDeletePixie is asking the finch to define "general purpose duck" or "general purpose bird" for that matter. What is the purpose of ducks and birds in the grand scheme of things? They aren't good for air travel, and apparently they can't be fed in that big Hawaiian park.
ReplyDeleteI can sit on a boat and problems that seemed insurmountable just don’t seem that important anymore, bailing water does!
ReplyDeleteLove all the quotes, but the first one is spot on. I feel that way every time we're on our boat.
ReplyDeleteThank you for joining the Happy Tuesday Blog Hop.
Have a fabulous Happy Tuesday. Scritches to Pixie. ♥
Pixie is having kind thoughts about that sweet bird.
ReplyDeleteI picture a capture above the cat's head...'If Only' I could get outside. Would they be friends or not. lol So cute and as always like the quotes. I'm so jealouse of where you live right now because we are so so cold today. lol hugs
ReplyDeleteI love seeing Pixie! Ours are watching the squirrels, and banging into the window trying to get them!
ReplyDeleteNice seeing Pixie's wee friend stopping by for a visit.
ReplyDeleteI love Wendell Berry. He is a great author. Pixie has a new friend :)
ReplyDeleteI don't know that I would want to travel with a cat, but I definitely like a cat where I'm at! Beautiful photos - the warmth and sunshine - I'm ready for that!
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful photo series. The duck caught my attention. It looks very similar to the female ducks of the wild duck (Anas platyrhynchos) in the Netherlands. Who knows, they might be related. Right now, the male ducks here are fighting over a female. They make a lot of noise. Thanks again for your beautiful photos, and I also love the quotes.
ReplyDeleteI'm lucky to have a great travel partner. We're two peas in a pod. Great quotes!
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing your link at My Corner of the World this week!
ReplyDeleteJust an other day in paradice

All the best.
