Real freedom comes

People should eat and drink

Ecclesiastes 3:13
Someone in your life at some time will believe
something that you know is factually untrue.
It is fruitless to argue about facts
beyond a certain point. What is helpful
is to realize that the relationship, the other person,
is more important than facts. This untruth is
Emotionally True to the them. How is
their passion & belief system wrapped up in it?
Lots of information there about your friend
that is much more important and
interesting than facts.
Encyclopedias are full of those.

ReplyDeletePixie is there passionately believing that it is time to give her a queen's tribute in catnip. You can't argue with her about it, just value her passion and give.her.the.nip!
ReplyDeletePixie looks quite cozy in this shot. She is happy with her life.
ReplyDeleteWonderful pictures and words. The beach is lovely the ants are busy. My favorite is Pixie, of course. Fab words about not having to be right and the relationship is more important. Beautiful post as always! Happy T-day and hugz
ReplyDeleteYou quoted "This untruth is Emotionally True to the them. How is their passion & belief system wrapped up in it?"
ReplyDeleteThis used to be reasonable to believe, but these days, the persistence of lies is a political matter and probably speaks to a very different mindset. So sad that our society had been corrupted as it has.

Such thought provoking quotes in this post, Cloudia. Pixie and I both know people who are emotionally invested in an untruth. However, I MUST overlook that untruth in order to keep my friend(s). This is a very truthful statement.
ReplyDeleteLOVED the pensive Coca Cola shot. That was super and perfect for T this Tuesday, too, dear.
Lovely shots!
ReplyDeleteA wonderful post today, Cloudia. Love the ants on the flower. Have a lovely day.
ReplyDeleteIt's snowing today so I'm enjoying your sunny, warm beach pictures. Pixie looks so wise. Happy T and Pi Day

ReplyDeleteThat last quote is fantastic.
ReplyDeleteYou always have the most wonderful quotes to go with your photos. My grandson is coming to visit and he is almost 8. We love to sit and look at clouds and tell each other what we think they look like. I hope to nurture a love for nature in he and his sister. Michelle.
